In accordance with our goal to provide quality-constructed homes, many of the standard features found in AHCVA-built homes are only regarded as "standards" in more expensive homes. These high quality standards are reflected in our:
Built in accordance with CABO and/or IRC code to meet or exceed specifications required for construction in the State of Virginia as per State adopted and published codes
- Category III approved for VA/FHA/FMHA funding
- Continuous quality control inspections during the construction assembly process plus on-site inspections by local building inspection officials as required by the municipality in which the home is located

Numerous options and upgrades are available based on floor plans.
- 2" x 4" SPF studs, 16" OC on outside walls
- 2" x 10" SPF floor joists with solid wood bridging
- 3/4" tongue and groove OSB subfloor (glued and nailed)
- 1/2" OSB exterior sheathing
- Housewrap on all sections
- R-13 fiberglass insulation in side walls, R-30 in the ceiling and R-19 under the flooring
- 2" x 4" SPF studs 24" OC on interior wall partitions, 8 ft. ceiling height (unless otherwise described on the floor plan)

- Two weatherproof outside receptacles (GFCI protected)
- Two doorbells: one at front and one at rear or side (as per plan)
- Split-faced block foundation
- Front porch as pictured on rendering (included in price quote but can be altered or omitted on many plans per customer's request)
- 6' x 6' side or rear porch. (Deck to customer's specifications will be priced per sq.ft.)
- Pricing for plans with integral garages quoted according to customer's specifications
- All disturbed areas graded, seeded and strawed
- Foundation shrubbery planted and mulched ($500 allowance)
- Gravel driveway installed ($750 allowance)
- E-911 identification as per municipality requirements

- Elongated 1.6-gallon, low flow water closets
- Double bowl, 8" deep stainless steel sink with single lever faucet
- Washerless faucets (nationally recognized brand)
- Pex fresh water supply lines
- PVC drains, waste and vent system
- Electric heat pump with central air
- 50-gallon electric water heater installed in crawl space or basement (when possible)
- $5,000 allowance for bored/drilled well or for public water connection fee
- $4,000 allowance for septic tank/drainfield or for public sewer connection
